Schöni golfte mit Rockerl – „Schotte" Armin forderte Disqualifikation
Die „Schotten" Rainer Schönfelder, Armin Assinger und Alex Antonitsch geizten nicht … mit Schmäh! Der Slalom Weltcupsieger sang beim Schöllerbank-Golfen in Kitz ein Loblied auf die Extravaganz – und trat im neckischen Burberry-Rockerl an. „Dafür", lachte der Schöni, der ein halbes Jahr lang mit einem Rasterlook durch die Lande gezogen war, „hab i wieder a normale Frisur: meine natürlichen Lockerln."

Ein Haar in der Suppe von Rainers Klassen-Sieg fand hingegen der ORF-Millionenmann: "Du gehörst disqualifiziert! Mit deiner Kleidung hättest mit den Damen spielen müssen." Bei der abendlichen Party in Eichenheim entschied sich aber auch Assinger bei der Frage nach dem Gewand für die Antwort A – und die hieß: Schottenrock! „Genauer gesagt sind das Keltenröcke", erklärte er und Landsmann Antonitsch ihr sexy Outfit, „die ham unsere Körntner Ahnen tragen, und die waren trotzdem ziemlich harte Burschen."

Order´s members honourd
The *Austrian Federal-Honour Badge* has been awarded to the following members of the Order: Col. Prof. Vis Helmut v. Bräundle-Falkensee (Grand Master) Lady Johanna v. Bräundle-Falkensee GCSA (Administrator General) and OltdRes Reg.-Rat. Franz Satzinger CSA in relation to long-standing meritorious voluntary-service. The awards have been presented by Dr. Maria Rauch-Kallat, federal minister for health.

Das "Österreichische Bundes-Ehrenzeichen" wurde in Würdigung langjähriger verdienstvoller ehrenamtlicher Tätigkeit den o.a. Ordensmitgliedern verliehen. Die Überreichung nahm Gesundheitsministerin Dr. Maria Rauch-Kallat vor.

Scotch Malt Whisky Society Sold To Glenmorangie
Edinburgh´s Scotch Malt Whisky Society was founded as a private club in 1983 by a group of whisky enthusiasts as a way to search out interesting casks of whisky and bottle them for their own appreciation. Since then, the society has grown into an international organization with 24.000 members, clubs in Edinburgh and London, member accommodations and a retailing operation. But last winter, the society agreed to a £ 2,2 million ($3,96 million) but out offer from Glenmorangie distillers. "The amount of the money required to run the society is enormous, and we don´t run at a huge profit" said a senior spokeman at the club. "At the end of Easter, we moved into additional premises on Queen Street, Edinburgh, and it is costing £ 1 million just to get it in order." The club was also finding it difficult to obtain valuable whiskies from distilleries due to increasing demand around the world. Although some say Glenmorangie will use the society to promote its own brands, the society insists its direction will remain the same. Priory of Finland
The order´s prior of Finland, Chev. Prof. em. Dr. Matti Sillanpää CSA informed us about the activities in 2003:  February 14th: Annual Investiture, April 26th: Annual Assembly, the same officers were re-elected. Chev. Erkki Asp, professor of social politics, gave al talk on "Development of electronical industry for a sociological viewpoint". August 5th: Customary summer trip to an old estate, 50 km from Turku. November 11th: Christmas brunch with al lecture of the Evangelic Lutherian churchial work for children with special needs. From September 22nd -25th the prior visits Edinburgh.
